Trade Show Display Challenge:
141 worldwide, part of Ogilvy & Mather, approached Moose Displays & Logistics to assist them in making their "Oasis" concept a reality. After reviewing the concept drawings, we knew the build out would be a challenge. The result was a tension fabric structure and custom interior that achieved their objective with a few bonus items.
Trade Show Display Solution:
The first challenge was laying out the floor plan to scale. The design concept was layed out in a 40 x 40 format and American Express expected the same elements to work in the 30 x 30 environment.
Once the interior elements were designed to scale, we we then created a set of overlapping "domes" with only structural support from the perimeter. A last minute addition of rigging points allowed the structure to be rigged from the ceiling, if desired.
The interior environment was designed to be an
"Oasis" on the show floor for American Express Business Platinum Card members as well as a place for new members to sign up. The concierge counter provided access to laptops, printers, and fax machine.
Three individual "pods" allowed members to check their e-mail or search the Internet in private. Finally, a small lounge area allowed for impromptu meetings or just a quick break for some provided refreshments. All this was lit using hand-spun aluminum fixtures with ample lighting.
Moose Displays & Logistics was also contracted for all show services associated with the American Express Business Platinum displays 14-show annual schedule, as well as the general maintenance, refurbishment, and storage of all properties associated with this promotion.
